`Big Blue' goes green

BOULDER, CO IBM, also known as "Big Blue," officially reopened the retrofitted 115,000-square-foot building at its Boulder campus Tuesday with Gov. Bill Ritter and other state officials in attendance.

The company says the building, part of an IBM data center, has been equipped with efficiency features expected to help cut energy costs by more than 40 percent in some cases.

The site will be partially powered by renewable energy, including wind.
