Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are asking the public's help with information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of a man trying to entice young girls in the Channelview area. At 6am on May 28, 2008 a white or Hispanic male approached a young girl waiting at her school bus stop. The incident occurred in the 600 block of West Drive.

The suspect approached another girl two days later on May 30 at 7:30am in the 16200 block of Avenue D. He has also been seen around South Drive and Woodard. All locations are in the Channelview area.

Each time the man would approach in a dark blue Chevy or GMC pick up truck. The truck has no special markings or bumper stickers, but has a license plate with a "W" as the third digit and possibly a "Y" in the second set of numbers on the plate. One of the girls snapped a picture of the man's truck on her cell phone.

The suspect is described as a slightly built white or Hispanic male with short salt and pepper hair. He is missing his two upper front teeth. Both girls said the suspect speaks with a distinct lisp.
