A woman who kidnapped a girl from a day care last April has pleaded guilty to kidnapping charges. Reashala Morris was sentenced to eight years probation for kidnapping the one-year-old girl. Investigators say the day care never requested a background check on Morris before letting her watch children unsupervised.

The girl's mother, Shemika Thacker, is suing the day care owners for $1 billion.

You can check your child's day care licensing, to learn if they have any citations.
