Man sentenced for killing grandmother

A Houston man has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of murdering his grandmother. The jury handed down the verdict Friday afternoon. Sean Thomas Saunders, 25 shot Dorothy Saunders, 75, to death at her home in southeast Houston back in August of 2006. He was arrested a week later driving her stolen car in Daytona, Florida.

It only took jurors about two hours to convict Saunders.
