Towles sent back to Round Rock

The Astros made a move today, sending catcher J.R. Towles down to Triple-A Round Rock and calling up catcher Humberto Quintero. Towles was not having a good year at the plate, hitting .145 with four home runs and 14 RBIs in 42 games with the big club.

Quintero, who has caught in 29 of his 32 games with Round Rock, is hitting .237 with three home runs and 18 RBI. He's joining the team in Houston for his second stint with the Astros this season.
