Extra reward offered for 'Careless Crew'

HOUSTON Harris County Sheriff's deputies rereleased video and pictures of the group of bandits they call the 'Careless Crew.' Investigators believe they are responsible for as many as five bank robberies inside area Kroger stores. In the latest robbery, one of the men fired a round from his AK-47.

"We don't know why they fired the round," said Sgt. Robert Schobey with the Harris County Sheriff''s office. "That's why we call them the Careless Crew, because they're obviously being careless about their activities."

Investigators are worried they'll get more bold and aggressive if they're not caught. They are now offering $10,000 for any information. Just call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
