"We opposed it based on his danger to the community," said George Weissfisch with the Harris County DA's office.
Gonzalez's lawyer told Eyewitness News the judge issued the bond because the DA's office did not file a motion to have Gonzalez held without bond within a week of his arrest. Gonzalez is set for another court appearance on June 17.
