Texas A&M will host a College Station regional starting Friday. The 43-16 Aggies will host 34-20 Illinois-Chicago in the opening round, while 39-22 Houston plays 37-17 Dallas Baptist.
Texas Southern will open the tournament in the Baton Rouge regional. The 16-32 TSU Tigers will play 43-16-1 LSU Tigers in the Friday opening round.
TCU will be in the Stillwater, Oklahoma, regional. The 43-17 Horned Frogs will open Friday against the 44-15 Wichita State Shockers.
The regional winners will advance to the Super Regionals, with the winners of that round going to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
