Student stabbed at high school

MAGNOLIA, TX School officials confirm the student received the stab wound during an assault of some type. The victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance at about 3:30pm. The student's condition is unknown. Citing confidentiality concerns, officials would not release any additional information on the incident or the students involved.

The other student involved in the incident was taken into custody by officers with the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable's office. An investigation is ongoing. There's no word if any charges will be filed.

Magnolia West High School will have additional constables at the campus tomorrow. Officials believe this was an isolated incident.
