Man dupes people into donating money
HOUSTON The Attorney General's Office is ordering Brian Brumfield and his business, Thornebrooks Shapiro, LLC, to pay nearly $12 million. Investigators say he bilked small businesses around the country into donating the money for a magazine called "The Sheriff's Journal," which doesn't exist.
