Two nearby vehicles also caught fire. The family was home at the time, but no one was hurt. A firefighter, who was injured, received treatment at the scene.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Firefighter injured while battling fire
HOUSTON It happened at Slate Stone near Stoney Lake around 9:30pm. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a detached garage engulfed in flames. The garage burned down with a boat inside.
