BATON ROUGE, LA Game 2 featuring Alcorn State and Prairie View A&M was under way
when play was suspended at Lee-Hines Field on the campus of
Southern University. The Braves were up 2-1 over the Panthers in
the top of the third inning.
That game will pick up at 9 a.m. Thursday, weather permitting,
with the rest of Wednesday's scheduled games -- Jackson State vs.
Texas Southern and Southern vs. Alabama State -- to follow.
