All players ejected after basebrawl

LUBBOCK, TX It happened last night at a game between Weatherford College and New Mexico Junior College. What started as a skirmish at second base in the sixth inning became a mele of thrown punches and tangled players.

The fray lasted a few minutes before the teams were pulled apart.

Umpires declared the game a double forfeit, and tournament officials disqualified the schools.

No one appeared seriously hurt.
