HOUSTON --
A hit and run accident on the Southwest Freeway left a woman in the hospital with serious injuries. She was driving down the freeway near Weslayan when a vehicle hit her from behind. The woman went down an embankment and crashed. Firefighters had to cut her out of the vehicle. Paramedics say she broke both her feet. The vehicle that hit her never stopped, and no one got a good look at the vehicle's license plate.
