Conroe ISD also held an election for a $526 million bond. It passed, 60-percent to 40-percent.
We're also following the results of several mayoral races in the area.
In Sugar Land, residents will have to wait until next month to see who will replace outgoing mayor, David Wallace. Results show James "Jimmy" Thompson received the most votes for mayor, but he was still shy of a majority. He will face city council member, Daniel Wong in a June run-off.
We will also see a runoff in the race for League City mayor. It's between Chris Mallios and Toni Randall.
In Missouri City, Allen Owen had a big win. He won with 68-percent of the vote, compared to 32-percent for Greyling Poats.
In Dickinson, Julie Masters defeated Mark Townsend, 60-percent to 40-percent.
In Webster, Floyd Myers captured 54-percent of the vote to beat Carlos Villagomez. In Webster, folks there were electing a mayor and several council seats. We've got a link for those election results, as well.
