The initiative also will give ABC insight into what the 33 million 18- to 25-year-olds in the U.S. are thinking and doing, network officials said.
"These college digital bureaus will extend the newsgathering reach of ABC News throughout the country," ABC News President David Westin said in a statement.
The participants will be mostly upperclassmen and graduate students selected by the network and the respective universities. The other schools are Arizona State University, Syracuse University, the University of Florida and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
