Towel-wearing bandit robs Texaco

HOUSTON On March 31, 2008, a black male wearing a dish towel on his head as a mask and yellow rubber kitchen gloves, robbed the Texaco store at 17355 FM 529 at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The suspect charged into the store brandishing a shotgun at the store clerk, demanding money. When the clerk didn't move quickly enough, the suspect struck him in the face with the shotgun and broke his nose. The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money.
