Surveillance video sheds light on accident

HOUSTON The video recorded Thursday night shows Aisha Moore walking between the platform and the rail line near Main and Alabama. The train hit Moore and she remained trapped between the train and platform for about 30 minutes.

The operator started driving the train two months ago and had an exemplary record driving a METRO bus.

"He did everything he could to stop that train," said Reginald Mason with METRO. "So he did an excellent job from my vantage point of what he tried to do to prevent this accident from happening."

Moore did end up losing a foot in this incident.
