Visiting Dallas Baptist defeats A&M

COLLEGE STATION, TX Dallas Baptist (30-13) scored at least one run in each of the first seven innings. Bantz homered in the second and had a two-run single in the sixth. Santos singled in Bigley in the first and got two other RBIs on sacrifice flies.

Darby Brown went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and scored two runs for Texas A&M (38-8). Dane Carter went 3-for-5 and Luke Anders went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Dallas Baptist led 12-2 before Texas A&M got four runs in the eighth.

Jordan Meaker (5-1) struck out seven and allowed six runs on nine hits in 7 1-3 innings. Kirkland Rivers (0-1) took the loss, giving up five runs on five hits and struck out one in two innings.
