HOUSTON
Beginning at 9pm tonight, I-10 westbound from Washington to the West Loop will be closed and won't re-open until 5am Monday. Westbound traffic will be detoured to exit at Washington Avenue, make a right and continue to Old Katy Road to access the I-10 westbound frontage road and get back on I-10 at Antoine.
Also, the Katy Freeway westbound ramps to the 610 West Loop north and south will be closed. Here's how to get around Those closures:
I-10 westbound traffic destined to I-610 northbound will detour to Old Katy Road and turn right to the I-610 northbound frontage road and enter the I-610 mainlanes before 18th Street.
I-10 westbound traffic destined to I-610 southbound will detour to Old Katy Road, make a left on North Post Oak to access the I-610 southbound frontage road and enter the I-610 mainlanes after Woodway.
Meanwhile, the I-10 eastbound main lanes between Wilcrest and Gessner will be closed Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 from 5 AM to 8 PM for the hanging of beams for the new I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound to Beltway 8 northbound direct ramp. Traffic will detour to the frontage road and re-enter the I-10 eastbound mainlanes after Beltway 8.
