Washington isn't in custody, but the district attorney's office says arrangements have been made for him to turn himself in.
Ex-lawmaker charged with assault
HOUSTON Longtime lawmaker and lawyer Craig Washington was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He's accused of shooting at two men who were parked near his law office New Year's Day.
