Seven men, including four foreign nationals, have been arrested over the execution-style slaying of one of their own in Hidalgo County. Officials say the defendants face murder and attempted murder charges. Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevino says six of the men are members of a "low-profile prison gang" (the Partido Revolucionario Mexicano, also known as Los Borrachos de Villa).

They're charged with killing Jose Guadalupe Garcia, near Alton. Investigators say Garcia was killed for declining a promotion within the gang. He was kidnapped from his home in March. His body was later found in an orchard.

An autopsy revealed multiple gunshot wounds. Also injured in the kidnapping was Jose V. Sierra, who was stabbed multiple times -- but survived.
