Firefighter killed in crash to be laid to rest

HOUSTON Services for Mickey Pate, 49, were held at 10am at a west Houston funeral home.

The veteran firefighter was traveling on Eldridge Parkway last week when his motorcycle hit the back of a taco truck. An oncoming car then struck and killed him.
