HOUSTON --
Houston firefighters are going to say their final goodbyes today to a fellow fireman who died in a motorcycle crash. Services for Mickey Pate, 49, were held at 10am at a west Houston funeral home. The veteran firefighter was traveling on Eldridge Parkway last week when his motorcycle hit the back of a taco truck. An oncoming car then struck and killed him.
