Home invader stabs resident, flees scene

HOUSTON It happened on Europa at East 40th Street. Police say a man went to the front door of a home and tried to force his way inside. The two men got into a fight, and the homeowner was stabbed in the stomach. The suspect ran off.

Officers say it might have been drug related. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
