Police say the shooting happened about a half a block down the road. The driver may have tried to get away before crashing into a tree.
"It's apparent that we had a drug transaction between three individuals and it resulted in the two deceased black males," said Sgt. Myron Billingham with the Houston Police Department.
Police say the suspect ran off and has not yet been caught.
