Rockets launch paperless ticketing

CLEVELAND The company had reached a long-term deal with the Rockets and the Toyota Center where the Rockets play to handle primary and secondary ticketing.

Using Veritix's Flash Seats paperless ticketing technology, customers can electronically transfer seats and use a credit card or driver's license to enter an event.

Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert leads the investor group that owns Veritix. It was formed earlier this year from the merger of Flash Seats and Dallas-based Vertical Alliance.

The Cavaliers use Flash Seats for their secondary ticketing.
