Skateboarder hit by car in Montrose area

HOUSTON Police say the teen was riding his skateboard with friends when he tried to cross the street at South Shepherd and West Alabama. A driver could not stop in time and hit the teen. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Officers arrested the driver for suspicion of DUI.
