They say he was driving on Eldridge Parkway near FM 529 at 7am in northwest Harris County when he hit the back of a taco truck.
He was thrown off the bike and then run over by a car traveling in the opposite direction
Firefighter killed in motorcycle accident
HOUSTON Authorities identified the victim as Houston firefighter Mickey Pate. He was hired by HFD in July 1979 and has served out of station 75 for a number of years.
