More construction this weekend on Katy Frwy

HOUSTON The freeway will be completely closed eastbound and westbound from Highway 6 to east of Eldridge. The closure begins tonight at 10pm and the freeway doesn't reopen until Monday morning at 5am. You'll want to detour to the Highway 6 exit ramps to the respective frontage roads.

Also, there will be a total closure of Highway 6 north and southbound at the Katy Freeway beginning at 9pm tonight. It also reopens Monday at 5am. Northbound traffic will detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road to U-turn at Eldridge to the I-10 westbound frontage road to northbound SH-6. Southbound traffic will detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road to U-turn at Park Ten to the I-10 westbound frontage road to southbound Highway 6.

Law enforcement will be stationed at key locations to direct traffic.
