Family escapes from burning home

HOUSTON It started around 1:30am inside an attached garage on Weyburn and Elbert. Three people in the house were sleeping early this morning and one woke up and smelled smoke. They got out and called 911.

Firefighters say the fire started in the garage and spread to the attic. At this point, they're looking for the cause.
