Police say he then shot her once in the stomach and took off in the SUV. The woman is in stable condition.
The gunman remains at large.
Woman shot during violent carjacking
HOUSTON Police say she was walking to her Chevy Blazer this morning at the Innsbruck Lemoyne Apartments on Sherwood and Mangum in northwest Houston. A man then came up to her with a gun and demanded her keys.
