Classes canceled after threat at Chicago college

Authorities say students can return to class at Chicago's Malcolm X College after the campus was evacuated because of a threat. College officials didn't reveal the content of the threat, but said it was found Monday morning on a bathroom wall. Up to 1,000 people were evacuated.

The threat was one of several in the region. Another Chicago college -- St. Xavier University -- has canceled classes indefinitely due to threats found on campus last week. Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. also called off classes and events after officials found messages in men's restrooms and other buildings.
