Kenny Chesney hurts foot in concert

COLUMBIA, SC The (Columbia) State reports that Chesney limped around and was in obvious pain, but still played his two-hour set at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia before more than 44,000 fans.

In a statement released Sunday, Chesney said his boot had to be cut off his foot after the show. It did not detail how serious the injury is.

But the country singer says he never considered stopping the show on his "Poets & Pirates Tour 2008."

Chesney's next show is Thursday in Austin, Texas, and the tour's promoters have not announced if Chesney's injured foot will affect the show.
