Fire starts outside empty home

HOUSTON The fire started on the front porch of a home on Lucore near Allen-Genoa Saturday night. Neighbors spotted the blaze and called 911. Firefighters were able to knock out the fire before it could spread.

No one was home at the time. Investigators say the fire appears to have been set with some type of accelerant.
