"I've been knocked down many times before," said Darren Payne. "I just believe that the Lord is our light and our salvation. We're just got to trust God from here."

Church fire causes $50,000 in damage
HOUSTON The fire at the Faith Baptist Church on Tommye at Bonaire started around noon, while contractors were making repairs to the building. Flames caused about $50,000 in damage. But the pastor says the congregation will gather in the morning for prayer and to begin making plans for repairs.
