Authorities say the shot came from a passing vehicle, although several witnesses say the shooter was on foot.
Police say so far nothing indicates the shooting is gang-related, although the investigation is far from over.
Teen shot, killed in driveway
HOUSTON Police say the teenager was standing near the driveway of a home on West Ridgecreek near Briar Spring when he was shot. The boy was hit in the head and died at the scene.
