Car slams into day care building

HOUSTON The wreck happened at the Children's First Academy on Little York at N. Wayside earlier this morning. Investigators say it appears the vehicle's brakes failed, causing it to run into the back of the building.

The driver was a mother dropping off her child. No one was hurt. No charges are expected.
