Horns offense comes alive, routs Nebraska

AUSTIN, TX Texas (18-8, 5-4 Big 12) jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the first on a sacrifice bunt, an error and a groundout. The Longhorns stretched the lead to 6-1 in the third on a two-run double by Hernandez and a sacrifice fly and 8-3 on Clark's homer.

Keyes homered in the four-run eighth inning.

Cody Neer hit a two-run homer for Nebraska (21-4-1, 7-1-1) in the seventh. Craig Corriston singled in the other Cornhuskers run in the first.

Riley Boening (2-0) got the win for Texas, giving up three runs on three hits in 6 1-3 innings. Cole Green picked up his first save of the season in 2 2-3 innings of relief.

Aaron Pribanic (2-1) took the loss, giving up six runs on seven hits in six innings.
