Clutch hit lifts A&M over Kansas

LAWRENCE, KS Kansas (18-11, 1-4 Big 12) held leads of two more runs twice in the game, but couldn't hold on.

Texas A&M's Luke Anders hit a 3-run homer in the seventh inning to erase a 6-3 lead by Kansas, his fourth of the season.

Raley, the winning pitcher in Friday's game, hit the eventual game-winner up the middle after the Aggies (20-6, 5-3) loaded the bases on a double, a hit batsman and a walk.

Travis Starling (3-0) allowed one hit in 1 2/3 innings to get the win.

Paul Smyth (1-2) took the loss after allowing three runs on four hits in 2 2/3 innings.
