A&M bats overwhelm Kansas

LAWRENCE, KS The 20th-ranked Aggies (19-6 overall, 4-3 in the Big 12) sent 12 men to the plate in the top of the first, scoring eight runs on seven hits.

Aggie shortstop Jose Duran also added three hits and two RBIs, while outfielders Brodie Greene and Brian Ruggiano also had a pair of hits for Texas A&M.

After the first inning, Kansas (18-10, 1-3) outscored Texas A&M 6-5. Senior John Allman led the offense, going 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, while junior Nick Faunce, sophomore Robby Price and freshman Tony Thompson each had two hits.
