HISD has "spirit" during 'Go Get It' Week

HOUSTON HISD's Education "Go Get it" Week will start with a kick-off rally at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 31st at Challenge Early College (5601 West Loop South, 77081). College representatives and inspirational speakers will motivate students to go to college and provide information to guide them in their college quest.

Students can ride the Success Express bus and obtain financial aid, scholarship and access to college websites though computers available.

In partnership with the National Association for College Admission Counseling, HISD will present the 3rd annual National College Fair from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m on Sunday, April 6 at the George R. Brown Convention Center (1001 Ave las Americas, 77010). Students will meet one-on-one with college admission representatives from around the country and discuss admission requirements and financial aid opportunities available.

    10:00 a.m.

    Wednesday, April 2
    Madison High School (13719 Whiteheather, 77045)
    11:40 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

    Thursday, April 4
    Austin High School (1700 Dumble, 77023)
    11:45 a.m. – 1:50 p.m.
