The fire destroyed half of the home and melted the side of the homeowner's SUV. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Dog alerts homeowner of house fire
HOUSTON The house on Auline near Flowerdale caught fire around 1am. A woman and her handicapped son were asleep. Luckily, their dog was up and made a lot of noise and woke up the homeowner.
