Tip: Don't pretend to be a prince on Facebook

PARIS, France That was certainly the case with a man who passed himself off as the younger brother of Morocco's king.

It got the 26-year-old state engineer into a lot of trouble. He was sentenced last month to 3 years in prison and fined $1,300 for "usurping" the identity of the prince.

But now there's word that he's been released from a prison near the Moroccan capital, after being pardoned by the king. A ministry official says the pardon was one of 566 announced by the king as part of a tradition of granting royal pardons in honor of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.
