Purse snatcher knocks new mom to ground

HOUSTON The man can be seen walking around the parking lot at a store on Aldine Bender, when suddenly he runs to the woman, knocks her on the ground and steals her purse. The victim didn't even see it coming.

Authorities say she had just given birth two days earlier and suffered severe pain from the fall.

Police say the man ran towards the nearby Haverstock Hill Apartments, where he may live.
