"Fashionable Felon" pulls gun from her purse

HOUSTON A professionally attired female, carrying a sparkly gold metallic purse, surprised tellers at First Convenience Bank Tuesday morning when she pulled a pistol from her purse and pointed it at tellers. The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking assistance in identifying this aggressive bank robber.

At approximately 9:35am, the "Fashionable Felon" entered the bank, located within the Kroger grocery store at 1352 West 43rd Street in Houston. After approaching the tellers several times with questions about opening an account, she approached again, and placed her purse on the teller counter.

"Fashionable Felon" then pulled a black semi-automatic pistol from the purse and pointed it at the tellers, demanding money. "Fashionable Felon" threatened an employee who was frozen with fear, uttering expletives and threatening to shoot if her demands weren't met. She then placed the money into her sparkly purse and exited the bank. No one was physically hurt.
