Registration set for Houston Marathon

HOUSTON The marathon is increasing the race cap by a thousand. Registration opens April 1st for the 2009 Houston Marathon, half marathon, and 5K. The 18,000 person cap applies to both marathon and half marathon runners.

Last year the race filled up 14 weeks in advance and there was a problem with people scalping bibs. The price of the race goes up after May 15th.
