"Having students come in before school now, come in after school now, it's harder for students to do those types of tutorials are not as well to attend as we think it would be if we had those tutorials from 8 to 9," said Matt Lucas with the Deer Park Independent School District.
"I think there's gonna be trouble," said concerned parent Linda Wortham. "I mean that leaves too much of a leeway for things to happen."
The school board is expected to vote on the proposal on April 21.
