Authorities later found the suspect vehicle abandoned not far from the scene. The car was riddled with bullet holes.
sInvestigators are talking with the friend who survived, to see if there was a shoot-out.
Teen shot, killed while walking on bike trail
HOUSTON Police say the boy and his friend were on the bike-path near North Super and Canal streets, when shots were fired from inside a black vehicle. One teen was hit and killed. His friend dove for cover and was not hit.
