HOUSTON --
A police dog bit a man fleeing the scene of an attempted break-in overnight. Houston and Spring Branch ISD police responded with a K-9 unit to reports of a possible break in at Spring Forest Middle School around 2:30am. When they arrived on the scene, a man ran from the property. The dog caught the suspected thief and bit him in the leg. He is now in Memorial Hermann Hospital and faces criminal trespass charges.
