HOUSTON As of January, HRD is ranked 20th out of 52 associated leagues in the nation, and No. 2 in the state.
HRD's all-star team, the HaRD Knocks, will be traveling to play some of those leagues and hosting a few leagues at home.
For the 2008 season, Houston Roller Derby's matches will be played on the second Sunday of the month, starting March 9. The only exception is in May, where matches will be held on the third Sunday. For more information, check out HRD's Web site, houstonrollerderby.com.
Tickets can be purchased online for $10 in advance. Season tickets also are available.
For the games at Verizon, the doors open at 4pm and the action starts at 5pm! The times have been changed to accommodate fans who get up for work Monday mornings! That's one less excuse to use!
